1 John 1:3-5

³ that Which we have seen and heard we declare to you, so that you may also have fellowship with us and that our fellowship may also be with the Father and with His Son, Jesus Christ.

⁴ And these things I write to you so that your joy may be full.

⁵ This, then, is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you: that God is light. And no darkness is in Him.
